Hanshi Lemuel Stroud is 10th dan and is the owner and operator of Stroud's School of Martial Arts. He is known by his students as "Shihan," a title he prefers. He holds degrees Shitoryu Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Kobudo. He has been training in the arts for more than 40 years and is a director of the National Martial Arts Association and Kodomo Bugei Kai, Inc.

Kyoshi Richy Huneycutt is a eighth degree black belt in jiu jitsu, a fourth degree black belt in judo, a third degree black belt in karate and a first degree black belt in weapons. She has trained under Hanshi Lemuel Stroud, 10th dan, of Kinston, since 1979 and trains in judo under Shihan Barry Huneycutt, fifth degree, of Kinston. She is on the board of directors of Kodomo Bugei Kai, Inc.

Shihan Barry Huneycutt  (5.18.07 reached true enlightenment) is a sixth degree black belt in jiu jitsu and a fifth degree black belt in judo. He has more than 25 years experience in the martial arts. He currently trains under Hanshi Richy Huneycutt, sixth dan, of Kinston, and Hanshi Lemuel Stroud, 10th dan, of Kinston. Together, Hanshi Richy Huneycutt and Shihan Barry Huneycutt are the chief instructors of "Make'em Fly" Children and Adult classes at Stroud's School of Martial Arts. He is on the board of directors of Kodomo Bugei Kai, Inc.

Shihan Jay Barker by profession is a physician, but by passion is a Martial Artist. A fifth dan black belt, he is lovingly referred to as our the "Dojo Doc." He has Black Belts in Shito Ryu Karate and Okinawan Kenpo. He began studying Martial Arts in 1973, and as he traveled the country studying Medicine he also studied various forms of Martial Arts including Shito Ryu, Okinawan Kenpo, Chinese Kempo, Hapkido, and Tae Kwon Do. He is a permanent student of Hanshi Stroud and Shihans Richy and Barry Huneycutt. He is a member of the board of directors of Kodomo Bugei Kai, Inc.

Sensei Scott Broadway is a second degree black belt in judo, jiu jitsu and karate who has been training at Stroud's School of Martial Arts since 1996. Wheelchair bound since birth, Sensei Broadway brings a unique talent to the dojo showing that no challenge is too great even for the physically challenged. He is the head of Wheels On Fire, a Christian organization binding the physically challenged together.

Renshi Brad Chapman is a fourth degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu. He has been training at Stroud's School of Martial Arts since the early 70's.

Sensei David Grady is a third degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Kaitlin Green, second dan, has been training in judo, jiu jitsu and karate since 2000. The daughter of Hanshi Richy Huneycutt and stepdaughter of Shihan Barry Huneycutt, she is a national champion in grappling.

Sensei Deidre Daugherty is a first degree black belt and has been training in judo, jiu jitsu, and karate since 2000. She is the daughter of Sensei Robert and Deborah Daugherty.

Sensei David Brantley is a second degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Drew Barker, first degree black belt, is the son of Renshi Barker. He has grown up in a dojo. His initial exposure was at 5 years old. He began training in 1995. He holds Black Belts in Shito Ryu Karate and Okinawan Kenpo. His special interest are in Judo and Iaido.

Sensei Heath Chapman - Second degree black belt, is the son of third degree black belt, Brad Chapman. He expresses interest in all aspects of martial arts.

Renshi Gray Johnsey is a fourth degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Ford Coley is a second degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Robert Daugherty is a third degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Hanshi Clayton Tucker of Wilson is a ninth degree black belt in jiu jitsu and a first degree black belt in Shitoryo Karate. He has been training with Hanshi Stroud for more than 35 years.

Kyoshi L. D. Tomlinson of Black Creek is an eighth degree black belt in jiu jitsu and a first degree black belt in Shitoryu Karate. A physical therapist by profession, he has trained with Hanshi Stroud for more than 30 years and practices yoga.

Sensei Tracy Chapman is a second degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Eustacio Aguilar is a first degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Guy Heath is a first degree black belt in judo and jiu jitsu.

Sensei Ros Scott of Georgia is a first degree black belt in jiu jitsu and in Shitoryu Karate, and a first degree brown belt in Judo.
